Welcome!  I am Mrs. Cori McRae, your elementary and middle school principal!

I am married to my handsome husband Josh for 16 years! We have a 14 year old daughter and twin 12 year old boys. We enjoy traveling the state - taking our kids to all their different sporting events, swimming in our pool on the hot summer days, building epic snow forts in the winter, and playing pickleball in our backyard with our neighbors.   We have three pets, two Toy Australian Shepherds, Maizie and Tsuki, as well as a one-eyed cat named Uno.  I am a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish Minnesota and love granting wishes for children battling critical illnesses.
 

I have been an educator for 19 years. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, 5^th grade & 6^th Grade ELA. I have also been a reading/math interventionist, certified gifted & talented teacher, and represented more committees than I can count. 13 of these years have been in the Austin Public School district where my children attend, and my husband is a Tech Integrationist for their elementary schools.
